NEULANDAn essay film combined with a live performance in four acts, exploring peat as a material that stores time, decay, and memory. Starting from the moor as a fragile ecosystem, the film traces geological, ecological, and cultural layers: from glacial melt at the end of the Ice Age, to the slow formation of peat in the Holocene, to the fragmentation of landscapes in the Anthropocene. In its final act, the film imagines a speculative future in which landscape and memory are reconfigured.
